Once again the club had a very successful opening bonspiel.
Call offs prior to the evening's curling might have upset the "Match Secretary",
but he took it all in his stride and fielded an impressive array of young curling talent
who all helped to make the evening the success that it was.
On a personal note I have to say that I enjoyed the curling and social immensely.
Our rink of
Tom Neilson who wielded his "stick" with great finesse
Willie Craig solid in play whether strike, draw or guard
Willie Canon a nice lad, plays well but a bit wobbly on the new shoes
and of course skip who orchestrated the whole to a resounding success
winning all games with a massive 16 shots total.
