TREASURERS REPORT - Willie said how we had a surplus this year of £12-26,
Sundries income was up this was due to our deposit of £200 being paid back to us
from The Scotland's Hotel for our Pitlochry Weekend.
Whist Drive was down due to fewer tables, lower cost for the dinner.
Engraver was less due to no repairs and less inter-club trophies to be engraved.
There were fewer badges than thought which had been written off for stock.
Willie felt that as the Whist Drive was on a decline and less of our members were supporting it,
by increasing the membership by £5 up to £20 would bring in the same income
and be a fairer spread over the members.
Agnes Strang proposed the £5 increase seconded by Archie Craig.
R.C.C.C. would remain at £17
Since Willie had taken treasurer seven years ago our income had increased by approx., £1,000
Willie thanked Archie McFarlane, Alan Drummie, Agnes
and all the committee for their help and collecting the money.
Willie thanked the members very much
for the barometer he had received on retiring as treasurer after seven years,
saying the weather was fair and it was going to save him a fortune
Katrina had the heating turned up too high.
Archie McFarlane would like to thank Willie,
he has enjoyed working with Willie and although he wasn't a qualified accountant,
it was always in the clubs best interest when Willie was working with their money.

PRESIDENTS REPORT-
George started his report by saying how this was going to be a Vice Presidents report tonight
as Len is unable to be here Margaret is still very unwell.
Over the past two years Len has still managed to fulfil all his duties as President
and I would like to thank him for all his efforts over this very difficult time.
The highlights for George the previous year had been winning the Punchbowl Trophy after many years of trying.
The three Bonspiels were a great success especially the Centenary, as everyone who was there would agree,
at the social and meal after we had a table full of ten young curlers who had been playing in the competition.
Every club would be envious of this and we should encourage and include them whenever possible.
Another big success this year was the Inter Club games as out of ten we had won eight of them
This is really nine for me as I played for the Mearns Coronation and beat E.K.&H.
The highlight has to be winning the Neilston Trophy although I lost both of my games
I feel the new Match Secretary will have no option but play me at skip
as I am President and the winner of the Punchbowl.
The other big win for us was against Stewarton Heather
I cannot remember the last time we managed to beat them
To everyone who was involved George thanked them for all their efforts.
George said how he had really enjoyed being Match Secretary
as all the members in the club are very willing to help out if they can,
which made the job a lot easier.
We should also congratulate all the members who have taken part and been very successful in outside competitions
especially Marion, Catherine Helen and Archie it is a huge achievement
and something the club will be very proud of.
We all wish them all the best in New Zealand.
George was delighted with the great success on how the dinner had gone on Friday.
There are people behind the scenes who make the office bearers jobs a lot easier
I am sure some of us know that Katrina does a huge amount of work for our Treasurer
and behind me I have had my daughters Laura, Mhairi and wife Mary
to make up for my very limited I.T. skills,
you don't really think I would manage to make league tables myself.
On behalf of Len I am sure he would want me to thank our secretary for all her work over the year yet again.
RESIGNATIONS- Willie Baird E.K. Rebecca Smith, Douglas Paton, Alistair Paton, Debbie Alison, Bill McCormack.
ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION - £20
ICE ALLOCATION - Jim Strang said he had made mistakes with Willie Lambie getting two nights in a row
due to extra being needed for an extra rink in the Dunn Medal and getting more Sunday ice.
Also next season we would make sure there was no ice on the Friday of Kinross Weekend
as Jackie's rink in the Bob Wiseman were penalised due to three players away at Kinross.
Dunn Medal - One Day new format for next season, proposed date is Sunday 8th November 2009
A.O.C.B. - Margaret Neilson asked if rule seven Bob Wiseman Trophy
moving players within the rink to keep alternate play had to be adhered to if you had only three players,
as this had happened this season with a lead having to move up the rink.
It was agreed rule should be changed to....with the exception of when only playing with three players.
As there had been even more games with cards marked 25% off
due to players not turning up for games without getting a sub or notifying their skip.
After discussion it was unanimous the penalty of missing two games in one season
without notifying your skip or getting a sub they would go on the reserve list for a year.
Willie Craig was disappointed the Bob Wiseman results hadn't been put on the web site very quickly
as members were using it more and more especially getting nearer the final games.
Marion and Catherine thanked the members of E.K. & Haremyres for their gift
and good luck wishes given at the dinner for Dunedin.
VOTE OF THANKS - George was thanked for chairing the A.G.M.
